home appliances that are modern and cutting edge.  This year in Milan, the SHINE Laundry concept was introduced from the Design Lab.  Although, not yet an Electrolux product, the competition showed us what is possible in the future for small laundry areas.

“The bathroom is more of a relaxation room than a cleansing room,” explains Calum Armstrong, Electrolux Industrial Design Manager, Fabric Care. “The SHINE concepts are thoroughly connected to this with our intention to contribute to a therapeutic atmosphere, akin to Japanese culture.”

I think it’s interesting that the Design manager compared it to a bathroom, relaxation environment. Who would of thought of this in the Laundry room? Most of us are trying to get in, and get out, without losing a sock!
