Entry #2517, June 12, 2013

Summer season calls for outdoor activities. It’s a great time to have fun with our loved ones or friends under the sun. There are several activities that you can do like camping, barbeque party, games and anything you can imagine. If you plan some of these things this summer, make sure that your backyard is ready. This will surely make your summer experience more fun and exciting.

Size doesn’t matter for a backyard to be perfect for summer activities. You just have to make great decisions in changing your backyard to fit your plan. Your summer activities will definitely be something to remember.

If you don’t have any idea yet, here’s how to give your summer backyard a makeover:

Plunge in a splash pool

Summer is all about getting wet and cool. And there’s no better way to do it than having a splash in a pool. This should be a lot of fun not only for kids but for all ages. You can have 7 feet wide by 13 feet long. But you may have your pool at your desired dimension. Paint it with blue so it will add to the reflection of the sky.

Built a backyard clubhouse

How about a clubhouse in your backyard? Should be perfect for a summer gathering. Set up a customized bar table in your backyard with a barbeque grill on the side. Maximize the space by renovating the corners into functional seats. Blend it with blue and white throw pillows for more elegant and summer looks.

Have a fountain in your backyard

This idea will definitely be a highlight to your backyard. It will provide a beach ambiance which is perfect for the summer season. The random splash and the graceful drops of water will be so attractive to look at. And the sound of the flowing water is also very relaxing to listen. It’s like having a beach spa right in your backyard.

You can so much with your backyard. It’s just a matter of taking advantage of your resources. Give it a try and you will definitely have a beautiful backyard experience this summer!
