It takes a lot to be a mother and I hands down give out a huge KUDOS to each mother on this planet. Mothers give so much and should be appreciate for everything they do. So here are some Mother’s Day DIY gifting ideas that should warm your mother’s heart and show her how much you want to celebrate her being in your life.

Wall art is a great way to go when giving your mom a Mother’s Day gift. This type of wall art can be very special because you can get vintage keys that your mother may have had for years and refurbish them up to be placed on the walls for display. That way she will obtain a new piece of wall art and keep her memories that will last her a lifetime.
Vintage Jewelry Sets

What woman wouldn’t want custom made jewelry sets? Jewelry pieces are the artwork that expresses our individual character. And being able to give your mother something that is beautiful and authentic would be a cherished gift. Now it all depends on your mother’s style and personality to see which type of jewelry she would prefer but a nice broach turned into a bracelet or a hat pin turned into a necklace, would certainly be great starting points.

Nothing says “I love you’’ more than tasty baked goods. Have a Mother’s Day dessert brunch and invite some close friends and their mothers to celebrate the day. Cakes, cookies, brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes etc. will be the quintessential assets for the table. Get creative if you like and have each guest create their most prized dessert for the entire party to share, then enjoy!

All around the pottery wheel! Now we as girls have had tea sets and have grown to keep dinnerware sets to place on top of our tables. So create a dinnerware set for your mother. Go to the nearest pottery store and take some pottery classes. The set could have her favorite color, animal, encouraging words, etc. you choose how to surprise your mother on her day.
Flower Vases

Now for all of the flowers that mother’s are receiving on Mother’s Day, create a vase to for the floral arrangements to be placed in. And you can make the vases out of simple objects like wine bottles, tin cans, glass jars, and more. Take the glass jar in this case, paint it her favorite color and let it set to dry then wrap a ribbon around the jar and make a bow. And she will have her own hand made flower vase.
Totes and Bags

Totes are great for carrying everything in it including the kitchen sink. Every woman carries a tote or bag so giving your mother something that she will have to wear every day that will remind her of how wonderful she is would be another great gift.
