Living spaces are one of the most important aspects of our lives because they are what we often call home. That place to come home to after a long day at work or after a long journey, living spaces can either give us that sense of welcome and embrace or stifle us in a cluttered and claustrophobic embrace. The essence of a functional and livable living space is space. It may seem obvious but as creative beings, space is the one thing we cannot do without if we are to feel free to think and live. Living in a small space does not necessarily have to mean you do not get to enjoy the liberty of space so here are two stylish ways to maximize space in your home.
Hide the Chaos

Chaos is only chaos if we can see it and it gets in our way. Chaos in the home can be stacks of magazines, DVDs, clothes and other items that tend to accumulate over time. The first approach would be to de-clutter the house, which works well until you have run out of things to give away or throw out and still have a bunch of stuff lying around. Storage systems mounted on the wall are an excellent way of hiding the chaos. With flush panels that easily blend with the rest of the wall, and sometimes extending up to the ceiling, vertical wall storage systems are a great way to store things away while still maximizing space. To get an even better effect from the storage system, use colors to either draw attention away from them (neutral colors) or use striking colors and designs to accentuate their aesthetic appeal.
Cut Down On Clutter
Using glass is a great way to remove unnecessary lines and clutter from the home. It’s often possible to completely transform a living or outdoor area with a few simple additions. For example, stylish glass pool fencing link this here from SEQ Glass can be used to create a beautiful home area while also adding the impression of extra space. Oftentimes by looking for examples and inspiration its easy to see ways in which our otherwise “standard” homes can be transformed into new and airy spaces.

Mirrors Make More From Less
Another great way you may maximize space in the house involves creating an illusion of space by use of colors and mirrors, both of which may not necessarily add space but they will definitely make your home look more spacious.
