Yesterday my post was about getting yourself organized in your mind and in your life. Today we are going to start identifying areas of your home that need organizing, and how to get started.
The bathroom. Hands down, one of the rooms that gets neglected when organizing, yet we are in our bathrooms 2-5 times a day! Here are helpful tips from Martha Stewart on keeping your bathroom organized.
1.) Bathroom medicine cabinet organization:
Whether your medicine cabinet is organized or not, I can guarantee there is medicine, makeup, etc.. that you need to throw away. By the way – it is better not to put medicine and makeup in bathrooms, as the heat can alter the effect of them.
Look at this great idea for affixing a metal sheet to the back of the cabinet to hold magnetic containers.
2.) Organize Bathroom Toiletries
Depending on the amount of space in your bathroom, opt for drawers, baskets and easy organizers that can hold toiletries. Try and have a different area for each member of the family.
3.) Drawer Dividers:
Tired of not being able to find your daughter’s hair accessories or your razors? Drawer dividers can help you find what you need easier, and keep the drawers in the same condition for months to come. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can get in and out of the bathroom!
4.) Bathtub organizer:
We always think of the bathtub needing to be organized for kid’s toys, but adults need an organization place too! If you have a freestanding tub, these bathtub organizers that have a place for bath sponges and bath accessories are perfect.
Your bathroom can get back to being a space that you enjoy. Use these helpful bathroom organization tips and tell me how they work!
