The autumn season can be a magical time of the year for all of us. Think about it. The refreshing change in the color of the plants, the cooler weather, and not to mention the different scents spreading across atmosphere letting us know that the holiday seasons are upon us. And one great way to capture a piece of the fall is by décor, more specifically your table décor— centerpieces. Centerpieces are lovely simplistic ways to invite the new seasons into your home. So take a look below at some different types of centerpieces and see how they work for you.
Keep It Under The Glass
Make it a true display and add a glass cover to your center piece. Take a look at the image above. There are a few feathers and some acorns to the side, the glass cover causes the piece to be elegant and special. Glass over anything makes the item that it contains seem special and untouched. So if that is what you would like for your centerpiece then go for it.

Stick With the Natural Elements
Nature has always been one of the best inspirations to art in general. So take the natural route and create a centerpiece that coincides with it. Find some gum or maples leaves, pinecones, sunflowers, or various mixtures of these types of plants and put them as the base of the centerpiece in a basket or bouquet. Next, find some vegetables or seeds that are large enough and place them into the arrangement along with more leaves to help them stand in an up-right position.

Traditional Sets
Perhaps, you prefer to keep your centerpieces in the more traditional fashions. Stuff a pumpkin or cornucopia with your favorite autumn floral arrangements, fruits and potpourri mixtures to add color and fresh aromas to the room. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you plan to use a pumpkin as the base then purchase some smaller pumpkins and candles to go around them.

You may not want much going on with your center pieces, that is completely fine. Simple accents can be just as visually appealing as the more extravagant sets. So collect some candles, with different sizes, colors, and scents. Set a group of them in the center of the table and scatter the rest among the table settings. The setup should be a wonderful addition to your fall inspired table ensemble.
