While we always think about what to give Mom’s for Mother’s Day, we never really stop to ask Mom’s what they are thankful for in their role.
My daughter came home sick from school on Friday, and when we took her to the doctor, she had strep throat – which is going around her school. When the Doctor prescribed a medicine, he told me she would be fine by Mother’s Day. At that moment I realized – that’s all us Mom’s want – healthy, happy kids. I’m so very fortunate to have 3 great kids, along with my Mother and Mother-in-law to share my kids with.
What a wonderful day for Mom’s to be celebrated, whether living or remembered. I take this moment to say to all Mom’s – cherish your loved ones, and enjoy the little things that have no dollar value, and will leave you feeling proud to be the best Mom you can be!
Happy Mother’s Day, from one Mother to another….
