On the other hand, reducing the physical clutter and building up a working system with more electronic software and applications on your computer will possibly enough to get things in order!

Instead of focusing on the entire place, find out small problems and work on them separately. You have to fix those things that create interruptions and distractions during work. Check if the position of your laptop or computer monitor is on the eye level, if the chair is comfortable and good for your back, if the working desk is spacious enough to hold all the necessary items, and etc. Your flow of work will certainly be hampered if you cannot sit comfortably or have to leave your desk every time your phone rings. You can also use freestanding filing cabinets on either or both sides of the desk. If you do not want to use huge shelving units, use wall-mounted box shelves as a sleek alternative.
