Whether you are ready for the warmer weather or not, it is officially coming or has already set in. For many homeowners this means getting your outdoor home ready for relaxing in the sun. Whether this means your front patio, back porch or lanai, or your pool area.
Today’s post brings inspiration for your outdoor pool shower area. I’ve always loved the idea of outdoor showers, especially for those who entertain and have a cabana bath to their home. Treated wood, rust-resistant fixtures, and an outdoor-fabric curtain withstand harsh coastal conditions.
• Choose materials that will survive the elements. Use pressure-treated, painted, or composite lumber; synthetic decking; mildew-resistant fabrics; and rust-resistant fixtures.
• Stash rolled-up towels in a galvanized bucket to warm them in the sun.
