Who doesn’t love easy desserts that taste delicious? Those are the words that will come to mind when you try out this fantastic recipe. Not only will your sweet tooth be satisfied but so will your hunger pains. You get the sweet treats from the chocolate chips and the smoothness of the butterscotch combined to make a heavenly taste. So go on and try it out for dessert tonight and be amazed by the results.
Sweet Treat: Butterscotch Blondie

Ingredients
4 ½ ounces of Whole-Wheat Pastry Flour (approx. 1 cup)
½ teaspoon of Salt
½ teaspoon of Baking Powder
¼ cup of Butterscotch Morsels
2 tablespoons of Half and Half
¾ cup of Packed Brown Sugar
3 tablespoons of Canola Oil
3 tablespoons of Butter, melted
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
2 Large Eggs
1/3 cup of Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Take out the flour and weight (spoon) it into a measuring cup; level the top off with a knife. Next, combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium sized bowl; whisk together until thoroughly combined in and set to the side.
- Combine the butterscotch morsels and half-and-half in an another medium sized, microwavable safe bowl; set it in the microwave at HIGH for 45 seconds making sure to stir every 15 seconds. Keep stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Once the smooth mixture has been achieved add in the brown sugar, canola oil, butter vanilla, and eggs; beat with a mixer at high speed for 2 minutes. Take the flour mixture and mix it with the butterscotch mixture stirring it all together until it is combined.
- Begin to stir in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into an 8-inch non-stick metal pan (or coated with cooking spray) after the chips have been added. Then bake the pan at 350 degrees F., for 40 minutes or until tooth pick is insert and comes out clean with moist crumbs clinging.
