- Prepare a marinade by mixing olive oil, onion juice, salt, pepper, and, milk. Pour it over the meat and cover the dish with a plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator overnight.
- Next day take out the meat from the refrigerator and allow it to come to the room temperature (Approximately 30-45 minutes). Use a knife or a meat cutter to shred it and then fry it in a teflon pan for 3 minutes on one side before flipping to the other side. Consider cooking the meat in olive oil for healthier preparation.
- Serve the meat in a Turkish style by taking it off from the frying pan and putting it plane on the plate. You can also serve it on pita bread with a yogurt dressing prepared with bell-pepper flakes, cumin, salt, and, pimento.
Tip: Traditionally, Doner Kebabs were served on a plate with rice, hot sauce, ground paprika, and melted butter.
Overall, Doner kebab is looked at as a comfort food. It can be eaten in a sandwich or as full meal. The choice is yours!
