I’m actually planning on having bathroom renovations in our home soon, so I like your suggestion that we replace our windows for safety and energy efficiency. Anything that will save me money is something I would go for, so I think a frosted-glass panel is a good idea since it offers privacy, and at the same time, I can opt for something that provides fresh air. I’ll share this with my hubby so that we can decide on incorporating the other bathroom renovation tips you also provided.

It’s so true that deciding between a shower or bathtub can be challenging. That’s where I’ve stuck, especially since my husband and I don’t want the same thing. I like that idea to take into account the space you have. That might be really helpful.

The funny part about the larger drain is it is the reason I’m looking into a bathroom remodel. I have three daughters and their long hair is constantly plugging the drain. I imagine this upgrade will only work with a shower, are there bathtubs that suppor the larger drain size?

I have been trying to decide if I want to get my bathroom redone and get new cabinets for the room. You said a great tip for me to keep in mind. You mentioned how you should choose cabinets based on the size of space you have in the bathroom. That is great to remember since there could be a challenge to include so many things in one bathroom. My wife and I recently bought a house, and we did our best in guessing what our needs would be. For the most part, we nailed it, but now that we’re on kid four we’re realizing our bathroom space will need a rework in the next few years. We’ll be focusing on space, but I love your input about how lighting will not only help you see more clearly during hygiene activities but that you can adjust the light’s color tones for different atmospheres. My wife and I have a knack for choosing good colors and moods, but we are wanting an incredible designer bathroom. If you’re looking for something special, unique, and professional, I think it would be smart to hire a professional.

I like the idea of having light fixtures throughout the ceiling and having a dimmer switch. That would be a lovely addition to my bathroom. I’ll have to add this to the list of renovations I want to be done to my home.

I like that tip to use recessed fixtures to brighten the room. You want a space to appear open and inviting. Design is all about controlling how a space is perceived; light goes a long way towards making a space seem bigger.
