Artful Use of Natural Elements
Bring some natural elements inside and use them artfully to celebrate the beauty of autumn. Use pumpkins of varied sizes and colors to decorate your home. They can be placed on the dining table, corners of the house, and on the two sides of the front door. Arrange them with grape vines and colorful leaves to create a rustic feel. Give your table setting a strong autumn vibe by making the napkin rings with acorns wired together.
Versatile Yellow Update
Yellow is a versatile color that can lift up any space in any season. Even a little yellow will go a long way. It works well with other colors too. Change the interior of your home just by bringing some fresh yellow flowers, making a paint update to a table or a chair, or adding one or two yellow covers to your throw pillows. In fact, just a bunch of bright, yellow flowers can provide a cheery pop of color to an otherwise dull dining room.
Set up a Tone
The decorations of the front porch, entryway, and the foyer can set up the tone for the rest of the house. Wrap your mailbox entry porch columns with straw, corn stalks, or raffia. Place orange pumpkins on the both sides of your deck stair. Make a wreath of dried autumn plants, straw, and Indian corn ears and hang it on your front door. Use artworks featuring nature themes in bright fall colors like golden yellow, rust, or orange in your foyer. These decorations can give a great uplift to your home.

Add Glamour to the Interiors
As this is a transitional period you can also choose a décor style that does not represent a specific season. Something bright and gleaming can freshen up a room. Infuse your home with a little glamour by placing a gorgeous flower vase on your bedside table or hanging an antique mirror frame on your bathroom wall.
Revamp the Fireplace
As the temperature will be getting cooler in the coming days, you have to concentrate on two areas that were not important in the summer days – fireplace and a warm, cozy sitting area. It is the time to revamp your fireplace. Décor the mantel with dried leaves, colorful candles, pinecones, etc. Set up a cozy sitting area in any nook of your home by using a blanket and throw pillows. The colors of the fabrics should be suitable for the fall season.

Keep in mind that your choices of colors, décor, and designs will determine the look of your home. Make your choices carefully so that your sweet home looks good amid cooler temperature, fall colors, and other changes in the nature.
