Instructions
- Make a 12” circle on the cardboard. Use a salad plate as a template. Cut out the circle.
- Make a second circle on the cardboard that is bigger than the previous one. This one should be 14”. Use a dinner plate as a template. Cut out the circle.
- Tie a small piece of ribbon on the top part of the circle. This will serve as a hanger.
- Use the pencil to draw two straight lines beside the ribbon where you won’t place eggs.
- Affix the eggs to the circle using the hot glue. Leave the area within the pencil lines plain. As you attach the eggs, you can make a unique design. You’ll need about 48 eggs to make the wreath full. Afterwards, you can use smaller eggs to make it fuller or larger eggs to make it really big.
- Before you add the second layer of plastic eggs, attach some grass to the first layer with hot glue. The grass fills the empty spaces and makes the wreath look fuller.
- Add the second layer of eggs randomly on top of the first layer.
- Incorporate some more grass between the empty spaces.
- Tie a large bow to the portion without eggs.
- Display your Easter wreath.
