Easter let’s us know that warm weather is here to stay, flowers are blooming and it’s entertaining time.  So with Easter around the corner, what better way to celebrate Easter than with some entertainment of your own.  You can down the route of keeping it more kid-friendly with a traditional egg hunt or even to the point of a potluck Easter party.  Well, if you are having an entertainment block here are some inspirations to help with your Easter entertaining.

Keep It Traditional

You don’t have to veer away from the traditional, nothing celebrates or reminds the world of Easter than a good old fashion Easter egg hunt. Everyone knows how this event goes.  Take a couple dozen eggs and boil them until they are hard.  Decorate them with light pastel colors and hide them around in certain areas, such as the around the house, yard etc.  Except add in some tricks like have a few eggs that are plastic and have little notes or double prizes hidden in them or have confetti eggs that have confetti in them. For the confetti eggs, just take some tissue paper and put the confetti on the paper and wrap the confetti into a ball shape and hide it.

How about just making some Easter crafts and decorations for your Easter entertaining?  You can create crafts or even decorations for the adults and kids.  And even create some to give away for the day.  Create things like goodie bags, creating Easter eggs (perhaps not for hunting- pre-make those) like silk print or planters eggs, felt Easter eggs or birds, floral place settings, cakes and pastries and more.  Visit some decorating magazines and decor websites for more ideas and instructions on how to do them.

What better way to bring everyone together than with a plates of hot food? Invite over close friends and family members to your home, and have each one bring a dish to have an Easter potluck.  Select an area for each person, such as one person take care of desserts the other drinks and so on and so forth.  Or you can even have some double up, with desserts and entrees’ the choice is yours.

Easter is such a joyous time and people just naturally gather together.
