Who can resist eating a soft chewy cake bar for dessert, especially around Halloween & autumn time? Well, that would be true for the majority of people who love sweets.  This Candy Corn Gooey Cake Bars recipe is perfect for your everyday treat. You just need a few ingredients that are readily available in your nearest supermarket or even inside your fridge.

For this recipe, you can mix and match ingredients in different colors for better appetizing looks.  Feel free to look for other sweet treats like chocolate edible sprinkler rainbow candies or anything available in your stock. The more color you have, the better this cake will be. If this is your first time to bake a cake, you never have to worry. This is a very simple recipe for inexperienced people who wanted to make something new and delicious delight.

Ingredients

• 1 chocolate cake mix
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 2 cup Candy Corn Oreo cookie chunks
• 1 cup peanuts
• 1 cup Candy Corn M&M’s
• 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk

Directions

1. Prepare all the ingredients and make sure everything is clean.
2. Mix together the cake mix, butter, egg, and vanilla until blended.
3. Press into the bottom of greased 9 X 13 pan.
4. Sprinkle the peanuts and M&M chocolate bits in the cake mix.
5. Place the cookie chunks on top. Drizzle the condensed milk all over everything.
6. Bake at 350 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes.
7. Let cool before cutting into the bars.

The whole process will not take an hour to complete. Preparations may be a bit messy for new ones but you will learn from experience. Don’t forget to allow the cake to cool down before cutting it into bars. This will provide a perfect slice of your cake. You decide with the size according to your preference. Take a bite and you’ll surely ask for more.
