Halloween is the perfect time to treat your guests with delicious appetizers. As people are generally on the go, it’s smart to serve easy to eat appetizers. Moreover, they provide some nourishment amid the festival sweets. We point you pumpkin cheese ball recipe that is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Halloween Appetizers: Mini Pumpkin Cheese Balls

Total Time- Preparation: 20 minutes + chilling

Ingredients:

8 ounces softened cream cheese

8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

8 ounces chive and onion cream cheese

2 teaspoons paprika

½-teaspoon red pepper

1 broccoli stalk

Procedure:

In a bowl, beat cream cheese for few minutes or until smooth. Stir in paprika, cheddar cheese and red pepper.

Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap in a plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until firm.

Unwrap the ball. With a knife, create vertical lines on it to resemble a pumpkin. Insert a broccoli stalk in the center to resemble the pumpkin stem.

Serve with apple wedges and crackers.
