A kitchen is the heart of ones house and a well functioning kitchen ensures the heart functions just fine. An important component of the kitchen that often remains under utilized is a kitchen island. Often if not always, kitchen islands tend to become solid masses occupying a lot of space without being as functional as expected, considering the amount of space they occupy.
