While when it comes to repairs of important functioning parts of your home such as doors and windows, the answer may not be as easy. How handy are you? Your answer to this question will dictate whether or not you should hire a pro to fix that broken door or glass window. There are lots of DIY websites, online tutorials, and online forums that can offer the do-it-yourselfer with the right tools and tips for the job.

When in doubt, leave it to the professionals or at least do all the research needed to fix your doors and windows yourself.
