Here’s to you, St. Patrick’s Day! You got it on this lovely green occasion have a drink that is green to match the scene.  The Emerald Isle drink would be a great way to celebrate the holiday and add to the fun!   With its minty taste and vibrancy it would definitely be the type of drink you would want at the party. Here is the recipe for the Emerald Isle and also a kiddie Emerald Isle so everyone will be able to, enjoy!

St. Patrick’s Day Cocktail – ‘Emerald Isle’ Recipe

Ingredients

2 Dashes of Bitters

1 Teaspoon of Green Crème de Menthe

1 Ounce of Gin

Directions

1)      Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes

2)      Shake very well

3)      Lastly, strain into chilled cocktail glasses with salted edges

Since kids enjoy celebrating St. Patty’s Day too, let’s not leave them out. Here is a recipe for a virgin Emerald Isle.

Ingredients

1 Ounce of Arctic Green Apple Koolaid Juice

1 Crushed or cut Mint leaf

½ Ounce of Seltzer Water

Directions

1)      Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

2)      Shake it well.

3)      Then strain into a cocktail glass or cup with salted edges.
