Brunch Recipe Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F for starters.

Then begin with the bread, put the milk, egg, egg yolk, bread flour, butter, sugar, salt, and the bread machine yeast in a bread machine. Place it on the Dough cycle and press start.

Get a large baking sheet and grease it lightly.

Once the dough is finished with the cycle, then punch it down on a surface that has been lightly floured down and divide the dough into 36 pieces. Take each piece and roll it into a ball, and arrange them in a single layer on the greased baking sheet; set them about 2 inches apart. Put the sheet into the oven and allow the balls to rise for about 15-20 minutes.

Next for your brunch recipe, take the balls out of the oven and flatten each of them. Make a depression in the center of them. Fill them with 1 piece of sausage, 1 quarter slice of cheese, and 1 tablespoon of hash browns.

When all of the flatten balls have been filled then stick them back into the oven and let them bake 15 to 18 minutes in the preheated oven, or until they have turned a lighten brown.

Then take them out of the oven and enjoy! Plus idea can also be used with a fruit filling as well just look at the second image above.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63994" alt="Frittata with kale and chorizo.
Image via: Fine Cooking

Preparation

• Preheat broiler and set the rack in the oven’s upper third part.

• Set the heat at medium-high and heat oil in a broiler-proof nonstick skillet.

• Add bacon or pancetta. Stir often and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until they become crunchy. Diminish the heat to medium and add leeks to it. Continue stirring for 4 to 5 minutes until they become tender. After that, add greens and cook for one more minute. Stop cooking when they start becoming withered.

• In the meantime, take a bowl and beat eggs, pepper, and cheese in it. Pour this mixture on the skillet when the greens start wilting.

• Cook the mixture for nearly 3 minutes. While cooking, scrape the eggs from the edges with a spatula. Place the skillet under the broiler when the eggs are almost set. Keep it there for nearly 2 minutes until the eggs become slightly brown and the top is cooked.

• Place the frittata on a cutting board. Cut into wedges and serve!

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63995" alt="Enjoy the delicious brunch on a spring morning.
Image via: Taste

If you want to have less saturated fat and fewer calories, use egg substitute instead of whole eggs. For a complete spring brunch, add Gorgonzola salad and a pear to it and enjoy.

Happy Sunday! Who’s ready for some french toast filled with warm strawberries and creamy cream cheese filling? With the 4th of July right around the corner, this breakfast is perfect for your hungry family and guests. I’m not sure which part is better, the strawberries and cream cheese or the golden brown french toast! Either way, enjoy this tasty treat and let me know how you liked it.

Strawberries & Cream Cheese Filled French Toast

Image via: Betty Crocker

[ad#co-1]

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3 medium bananas, sliced
1 loaf (about 1 lb) sliced unfrosted firm cinnamon bread
6 large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 Powdered sugar, if desired

Banana walnut french toast recipe

Image via: Hood Cook-Off

Directions

1. Spray 13×9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In large bowl, stir brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and walnuts until smooth. Gently stir in bananas. Spoon mixture into baking dish.

2. Reserve ends of bread for another use because they don’t soak up the egg mixture very well. Arrange 2 layers of bread on banana mixture, tearing bread to fit if needed.

3. In medium bowl, beat eggs, milk and vanilla with wire whisk until well blended. Pour over bread. Cover tightly; refrigerate at least 1 hour but no longer than 24 hours.

4. Heat oven to 325°F. Uncover; bake 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve portions upside down, spooning sauce from bottom of dish over each serving. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Easter brunch is a favorite at my house, and I’m always trying to think of new recipe items to try! If you like pecan waffles and banana and roasted pecan maple syrup ,you will want to add this recipe to your Easter recipes to try this year. Thanks Food Network for this delicious recipe.

Pecan Waffles & Banana Syrup Recipe

Pecan Waffles

Image via: Pinterest

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup ground lightly toasted pecans
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 eggs, separated
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted butter plus 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
2 1/2 cups milk
Vegetable oil or nonstick cooking spray, for coating the waffle iron
1 cup pecan pieces
1/2 cup cane syrup
4 medium bananas, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices

Pecan and banana waffles

Image via: Copy Cat Crafts

Directions

Preheat the waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions and preheat the oven to 200 degrees F.

Combine the flour, pecans, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl and whisk to combine. In another bowl, combine the egg yolks and sugar and whisk until pale yellow. Add the vanilla extract, 1/2 cup melted butter, and milk, and whisk to blend. Combine the egg and milk mixture with the flour mixture and whisk until just combined. Do not overmix.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, about 1 minute. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the egg whites into the waffle batter. Do not overmix.

Using a pastry brush, lightly coat the waffle iron with some of the vegetable oil. Pour enough batter into the iron to just barely cover the waffle grid. Close the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions, or until golden brown, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a baking sheet and keep warm in the oven while you prepare the remaining waffles.

In a saute pan, add the remaining 1/2 cup of butter and the pecan pieces. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pecan pieces are light golden and fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the banana slices and cook until light golden and soft, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the syrup and bring to a simmer. Serve with the warm waffles.
