<p>Apple season is in full swing, so we thought why not share a recipe that can turn your harvest into delicious seasonal snacks. Usually prepared for bonfire night, these nutty caramel apples also work great for Halloween and kids parties throughout the year. This <a href="https://stagetecture.com/category/inspiration/food-recipes/desserts-food-recipes/" target="_blank">Nutty Caramel Apple recipe</a> is quick and easy to make.</p>
<h1 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Halloween Favorite: Nutty Caramel Apples</strong></h1>
<figure id="attachment_56267" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-56267" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Nutty-caramel-apples.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-56267" alt="Nutty caramel apples" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Nutty-caramel-apples.jpg" width="500" height="285" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-56267" class="wp-caption-text">Nutty caramel apples</figcaption></figure>

<p style="text-align: center;">[ad#co-1]</p>
<div></div>
<p>Total time: 5 minutes for preparation + 10 minutes for cooking</p>
<p>Yields: 6 servings</p>
<h2><strong>Ingredients:</strong></h2>
<p>6 dessert apples</p>
<p>6 wooden ice lolly sticks</p>
<p>350g granulated sugar</p>
<p>5og finely chopped nuts</p>
<p>Vegetable oil or butter for greasing</p>
<figure id="attachment_56287" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-56287" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/nutty-caramel-apple-recipe.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-56287" alt="nutty caramel apple recipe" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/nutty-caramel-apple-recipe.jpg" width="500" height="334" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-56287" class="wp-caption-text">Nutty caramel apple recipe</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Flickr &#8211; Smitty Imaging</em></p>
<h2><strong>Procedure:</strong></h2>
<p>1. Grease a baking sheet and push a lolly stick halfway into each apple.</p>
<p>2. In a medium sized pan, melt granulated sugar over medium heat. Gently swirl the sugar around the pan as it begins to melt.</p>
<p>3. Once the sugar has melted, carefully pour in the nuts and mix. Remove the pan from heat.</p>
<p>4. Dip the apples into the mixture one at a time. Turn them to ensure proper coating. Allow them to cool for few minutes on the baking sheet.</p>
<p>5. Transfer to a tray and serve.</p>
<p><em>Tip: Do not stir the sugar when it cooks as it can crystallize.</em></p>
<p>This nutty caramel apple recipe is a treat for those who love apples as well as for people who love candy. For best results, use the smallest apples possible. Whether you remember these from your childhood for Halloween or you just want a special treat for autumn, we&#8217;d love to know what you think of them!</p>
