<div></div>
<p>Yields: 24 cupcakes</p>
<h3><strong>Ingredients</strong></h3>
<p>1 package chocolate cake mix (You can also use vanilla cake mix or any other flavor you may prefer)</p>
<p>3 cups chocolate cookies, crushed (Place the cookies in a large zip lock plastic bag, and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies into small pieces. Continue crushing until they are in fine crumbs. However, a few larger pieces are fine too).</p>
<p>1 package prepared chocolate frosting</p>
<p>1 package gummy worms</p>
<figure id="attachment_70779" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-70779" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/halloween-cupcakes-worms.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-70779" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/halloween-cupcakes-worms.jpg" alt="halloween cupcakes worms" width="500" height="333" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-70779" class="wp-caption-text">Fun Halloween cupcakes with gummy worms</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Food.com</em></p>
<h3><strong>Procedure</strong></h3>
<ol>
<li>Prepare cake mix according to package instructions. Pour the batter into cupcake pans and bake as directed. Let them cool properly before frosting.</li>
<li>Slowly spread chocolate icing on the cupcakes. Sprinkle cookie crumbs on the top of each cupcake.</li>
<li>Cut gummi worms into half. On the end of the each worm, put icing and stick on the top of cupcakes. You can put as few or as many as will fit easily on each cupcake. Let icing set for 10-15 minutes and then serve.</li>
</ol>
<p>Kids like worms and dirt whether or not it’s Halloween- and more so when they are produced from gummy candies and <a title="Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe" href="https://stagetecture.com/2014/03/espresso-chocolate-chip-cookie-recipe/">chocolate cookies</a> and served on cupcakes! Whip a batch of these cute dirty cakes, and we guarantee that soon it will become your signature Halloween dessert.</p>
