<p>Making your own <a href="https://stagetecture.com/inspiration/d-i-y/" target="_blank">DIY stamps</a> is fun and really easy. It is a great activity for kids, but also a perfect way to make your own greeting cards, wrapping paper or decorations. They are inexpensive to make and the materials you’ll need are probably already in your home or else easy to find in any craft store. Here is how.</p>
<figure id="attachment_63117" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-63117" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-foam-sticker-stamps.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63117" alt="diy foam sticker stamps" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-foam-sticker-stamps.jpg" width="500" height="354" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-63117" class="wp-caption-text">Diy stamps using foam sticker and bottle caps</figcaption></figure>

<h3>DIY How to Make your Own Stamps</h3>
<h3>Materials</h3>
<p>&#8211;          Foam stickers, foam sheets or small wooden shapes</p>
<p>&#8211;          Lids, bottle caps, corks, wooden blocks etc.</p>
<p>&#8211;          Glue</p>
<p>&#8211;          Scissors and templates (when using foam sheets)</p>
<h3>How to make</h3>
<p>Gather all your supplies for making your diy stamps and make sure your lids, caps or whatever you want to use have an even surface.</p>
<p>If you are using foam stickers, just stick them on your lid or cap and you are ready to stamp away! That easy! Equally easy is to glue on your base a small wooden shape. Note that different materials make different textured stampings.</p>
<figure id="attachment_63119" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-63119" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-stamps-wooden-shapes.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63119" alt="diy stamps wooden shapes" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-stamps-wooden-shapes.jpg" width="500" height="500" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-63119" class="wp-caption-text">Diy stamps using small wooden shapes and corks</figcaption></figure>

<div></div>
<p style="text-align: center;">[ad#co-1]</p>
<div></div>
<p>If you want to make you own shapes, take the foam sheet and using a template (or a cookie cutter) draw the outline of the desired shape. Keep in mind to keep the size of the shape small enough to fit on your lid, cork etc. Cut it out. Glue them on the lid, cap etc. and you have your own stamps right there.</p>
<figure id="attachment_63118" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-63118" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-heart-stamps.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63118" alt="diy heart stamps" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-heart-stamps.jpg" width="500" height="333" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-63118" class="wp-caption-text">Diy stamps are perfect for any occasion</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;">Image via: Pinterest</p>
<p>If you want to make letter stamps, don’t forget to glue them on wrong side up so the stampings will come out correctly.</p>
<figure id="attachment_63116" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-63116" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-foam-stamps-wooden-blocks.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63116" alt="diy foam stamps wooden blocks" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/diy-foam-stamps-wooden-blocks.jpg" width="500" height="352" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-63116" class="wp-caption-text">When using wooden cubes, use more than one side</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;">Image via: Babble Dabble Do</p>
<p>To make it challenging, try to make stamps with a variety of geometrical shapes and see what you can create with them. Also, you can use a larger wooden block to glue on more shapes, in order to create a pattern for stamping larger items, like wrapping paper.</p>
<figure id="attachment_63120" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-63120" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/tag-diy-stamps.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-63120" alt="tag diy stamps" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/tag-diy-stamps.jpg" width="500" height="557" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-63120" class="wp-caption-text">Be creative in making your diy stamps and put them to practical use</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;">Image via: Pinterest</p>
<p>The possibilities with these diy stamps are endless, and it will be great fun for everybody involved. We&#8217;d love to know what <a href="https://stagetecture.com/inspiration/d-i-y/" target="_blank">DIY stamps</a> you like the best.</p>
