<p>It’s time to start thinking about <a href="https://stagetecture.com/?s=autumn#sthash.uOg1QvVC.dpbs" target="_blank">fall decorating</a>! Oh the crunch of leaves under our feet, the crisp clean air that drifts in through open windows, and the smell of bonfires burning just make me mellow and content.  Renewed by the cool breezes, it seems a perfectly logical time to renew our homes, as well. Decorating our homes for fall can be so easy, inexpensive and fun – just use nature’s bounty! Here are some great tips to decorate your home this season from the offerings of mother nature.</p>
<h4>Decorating Your Fall Home With Organic &amp; Natural Elements</h4>
<figure id="attachment_54699" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54699" style="width: 550px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/acorns-in-vase.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54699" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/acorns-in-vase.jpg" alt="acorns in vase" width="550" height="733" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54699" class="wp-caption-text">Adorable Acorns Decorate this Vase</figcaption></figure>

<div></div>
<h3>Take a Hike:</h3>
<p>There is no better way to wind down with the family then by taking a wooded walk. Have the kids each bring a bag or knapsack and ask them all to collect items from the woods. Tell them that everything will work – such as pinecones, leaves, sticks, acorns, and even pebbles.</p>
<p>Once you are refreshed and invigorated from your walk, pour out everyone’s findings and begin to brainstorm. Here are a couple ideas, but be creative and come up with more yourself.</p>
<figure id="attachment_54698" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54698" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/take-a-hike.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54698" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/take-a-hike.jpg" alt="take a hike" width="500" height="500" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54698" class="wp-caption-text">Collect Nature&#8217;s Bounty Along the Trails</figcaption></figure>
<address style="text-align: center;">Image Via Pinterest</address>
<h3>Make a Wreath:</h3>
<p>One great thing to do with all those leaves is to press them flat in a large book for a couple nights. Once dry, you can glue the leaves onto a simple grapevine wreath that can be bought at any craft store. Using your hot glue gun, cover the wreath with leaves and fill in any blank spaces with acorns, pinecones or ribbon.</p>
<figure id="attachment_54755" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54755" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/fall-wreath-ideas.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54755" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/fall-wreath-ideas.jpg" alt="fall wreath ideas" width="500" height="611" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54755" class="wp-caption-text">Decorate your fall door with a welcoming wreath</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Many Hats of Mom</em></p>
<h3>Make a Centerpiece:</h3>
<p>The <a href="https://stagetecture.com/2013/09/inspiring-ideas-for-your-fall-centerpieces/" target="_blank">perfect fall centerpiece</a> doesn’t have to be perfect at all! Line the center of your table with burlap, making a nice rustic runner. Then fill three large glass vases or urns with all your findings. For example, pour pebbles on the bottom of the urn, followed by layers of acorns, and leaves &#8211; keep repeating this pattern until the vase is full.</p>
<figure id="attachment_54759" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54759" style="width: 450px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/fall-centerpiece-idea.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54759" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/fall-centerpiece-idea.jpg" alt="fall centerpiece idea" width="450" height="676" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54759" class="wp-caption-text">Fall centerpiece ideas</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Twenty Three Oh One</em></p>
<p>Voila! Line these up along the center of the burlap runner and you have the perfect table scape.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://stagetecture.com/?s=autumn#sthash.uOg1QvVC.dpbs" target="_blank">autumn season</a> can be a magical time of the year for all of us.  Think about it.  The refreshing change in the color of the plants, the cooler weather, and not to mention the different scents spreading across atmosphere letting us know that the holiday seasons are upon us.  And one great way to capture a piece of the fall is by décor, more specifically your table décor— centerpieces.  Centerpieces are lovely simplistic ways to invite the new seasons into your home.  So take a look below at some different types of centerpieces and see how they work for you.</p>
<h3><b>Keep It Under The Glass</b></h3>
<p>Make it a true display and add a glass cover to your center piece.  Take a look at the image above.  There are a few feathers and some acorns to the side, the glass cover causes the piece to be elegant and special.  Glass over anything makes the item that it contains seem special and untouched.  So if that is what you would like for your centerpiece then go for it.</p>
<figure id="attachment_54677" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54677" style="width: 400px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Fall-Inspired-Centerpieces.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class=" wp-image-54677 " alt="Fall Inspired Centerpieces" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Fall-Inspired-Centerpieces.jpg" width="400" height="500" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54677" class="wp-caption-text">Glass Covered Centerpiece</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><i>Image via: Martha Stewart</i></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Stick With the Natural Elements</h3>
<p>Nature has always been one of the best inspirations to art in general.  So take the natural route and create a centerpiece that coincides with it.  Find some gum or maples leaves, pinecones, sunflowers, or various mixtures of these types of plants and put them as the base of the centerpiece in a basket or bouquet.  Next, find some vegetables or seeds that are large enough and place them into the arrangement along with more leaves to help them stand in an up-right position.</p>
<figure id="attachment_54678" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54678" style="width: 339px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Fall-Inspired-Centerpieces-2-e1379081454590.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54678" alt="Image via: Martha Stewart" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Fall-Inspired-Centerpieces-2-e1379081454590.jpg" width="339" height="500" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54678" class="wp-caption-text">Stick to the Natural Elements</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <em>Image via: Fun Flower Facts</em></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Traditional Sets</h3>
<p>Perhaps, you prefer to keep your centerpieces  in the more traditional fashions.  Stuff a pumpkin or cornucopia with your favorite autumn floral arrangements, fruits and potpourri mixtures to add color and fresh aromas to the room. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you plan to use a pumpkin as the base then purchase some smaller pumpkins and candles to go around them.</p>
<figure id="attachment_54704" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54704" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/autumnal-flower-centerpiece.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54704" alt="autumnal flower centerpiece" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/autumnal-flower-centerpiece.jpg" width="500" height="374" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54704" class="wp-caption-text">Use traditional flowers with a gorgeous aumumn dinner setting</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: She Knows</em></p>
<h3>Classic Candle Line-Up</h3>
<figure id="attachment_54693" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-54693" style="width: 400px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/autumn-centerpiece-ideas.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-54693" alt="autumn centerpiece ideas" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/autumn-centerpiece-ideas.jpg" width="400" height="599" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-54693" class="wp-caption-text">Use candles to illuminate your autumn table</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Belle Maison 23</em></p>
<p>You may not want much going on with your center pieces, that is completely fine.  Simple accents can be just as visually appealing as the more extravagant sets.  So collect some candles, with different sizes, colors, and scents.  Set a group of them in the center of the table and scatter the rest among the table settings.  The setup should be a wonderful addition to your fall inspired table ensemble.</p>
