<li>Mounting board/frame</li>
<li>2 brushes (one for the cover page and one for detail work)</li>
<li>Dish for paint</li>
<li>Leaves (Any type). You can also use other natural elements that lie flat.</li>
<li>Spray paint</li>
<li>Temporary-bonding adhesive</li>
<li>Craft paint</li>
</ul>
<figure id="attachment_71541" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-71541" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/DIY-art-project1.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-71541" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/DIY-art-project1.jpg" alt="DIY art project" width="500" height="375" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-71541" class="wp-caption-text">The supplies are readily available</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Amy  Mayd</em></p>
<h2>Instructions</h2>
<ol>
<li>On a protected surface, paint the entire sheet of paper with the craft paint. Leave to dry.</li>
<li>Spray the leaves with the glue. Affix them to the painted surface and make sure their edges are pressed down.</li>
<li>Stand 1-2 feet away and spray-paint the whole surface and over the leaves. Spray lightly in one direction (left to right or right to left) to create a smooth, non-drippy result.</li>
<li>Remove the leaves gently. You can use the detail brush to apply new paint over the initial layer for an arty look. You can also add extra color for detailing or shadowing.</li>
<li>After the paint dries, mount your craft on a board or frame and display.</li>
</ol>
<figure id="attachment_71330" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-71330" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/spray-painted-leaves.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-71330" src="https://stagetecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/spray-painted-leaves.jpg" alt="spray-painted leaves" width="500" height="632" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-71330" class="wp-caption-text">Don&#8217;t you just love it?</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em>Image via: Simply Real Moms.</em></p>
<p>You can tell your kids to scour the neighborhood for flowers, leaves, and anything else you can use as a silhouette. For the best outcome, set the leaves between 2 pieces of paper then place them between 2 heavy books. Leave them for a day or two until they become completely flat. You’ll love this craft project for its easy process and great outcome. Your kids will also enjoy creating something beautiful on their own.</p>
<p>What leaves will you use to inspire your interiors?</p>
