Fruits Decoration

Fruits are an excellent item to décor the Memorial Day picnic table. You can get a variety of fruits at grocery stores even if they are still not quite in season. Create centerpieces with shish kabobs and fruits flowers and show a fantastic edible way of accessorizing your table. For kabobs, cut fruits with mini cookie cutters and thread onto skewers for a starry display.

Colorful Candles & Vases

Adorn the Memorial Day picnic table with colorful candles and vases wrapped in red and blue paper. You can do it by yourself. Just buy colorful paper, cut them in the right sizes, and wrap around the vases with glue.

Decorate the Coasters & Napkins

Coasters and napkins are essential elements to a table. So, add to the festivities by making celebratory coasters and napkins. Take some printout of your favorite designs, cut them according to the shape of the coasters, and stick by spraying adhesive. Similarly, personalize the napkins by using iron-on numbers or designs at the corner of each of them. Use paint-chip strips as napkin rings. Just wrap and tape!

Why to deprive kids of the fun? Involve them in your patriotic décor mission and keep them busy – at least for a while! Give them patriotic scrapbooking paper, clothespins, and glue. Teach them how to make clothespin pinwheels, which you can later use for the table decoration. Want to make something funnier? Buy adhesive paper in various colors. Cut out stars or whichever shapes you like and stick them to anywhere you want such as on the glasses, cups, napkin rings, etc.

Final Touch with Flags

Any patriotic décor will be incomplete without flag decoration. A flag centerpiece is very easy to assemble. Fill an open basket with decorative grass, plastic stars and spangles, and red blue croquet balls. Now, complete it by adding a few small flags.
