It is 3:06am on Tuesday, December 21st and we’re amidst the lunar eclipse. The hubby and I braved the cold, and amidst a sparkling clear Jacksonville night, we watched the gorgeous sight. So in the midst of the 72 minute eclipse, I found it only fitting to write my post for the day.

Christmas and the coming of the New Year always makes me think and reflect. So with all of the awesome activities going on in the heavens.. what are you doing to shed out the old and bring in the new?

With all of the negative energy surrounding politics, the economy, and plain scrooges walking around the Earth, there is one thing all of these phenomena’s are teaching me on this special day….

There is greatness in every piece of the heavens, and in every piece of you. Do your part to be as great as humanly possible and marvel at the wonders of what you can and will become.

Ahhh.. Christmas – This is why it’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Every Christmas you hear stories of families coming together, loved ones traveling many miles, and disputes being buried at the holidays. You also hear the unfortunate stories about people losing their jobs, and making great sacrifices through the holiday season. This season is being approached by myself so differently from those in the past…

In the past, the thought of how to outdo the previous years gifts and how much more could I buy was always high on the priority list. I would start in August purchasing my gifts, and by mid November, Ronique was done!

This year, not the same… with the changing of the jobs and my new solopreneurship I’ve come to discover a better meaning to this holiday season. Yes, I don’t have as much money to spend, or as many gifts to give, but I’m learning that having less may be the greatest Christmas gift that I could ever receive.
