Handmade Crafts As Thanksgiving Reminders

Kids love craft. So isn’t it a splendid idea to theme the table decor around handmade crafts? You could incorporate little DIY projects to highlight elements like plates, straws, napkins etc. You can step aside from the autumn theme and bring in colors that your kids love. And as far as the Thanksgiving theme goes, try and use motifs that spell thanksgiving…In a child friendly way of course!

A Table Especially For Kids

Setting up a thanksgiving table decor especially for kids might sometimes interfere with what adults plan too. That, however is no excuse for leaving out the kids. It can in fact be a blessing in disguise. Set a small table, suitable ergonomically for kids and decorate it just for them. Make use of buntings, streamers, autumn reminiscent brown paper and other thanksgiving reminders to set up a special place for them. They will just love a corner to themselves.

Autumn Themed Kids’ Table

Fall, autumn, fiery oranges and reds, earthly browns…these are terms that become so synonymous with November. Seeing adults being so passionate about these seasonal indulgences, kids too take a fancy to it at times. It wouldn’t be a bad idea after all to set up an autumn themed thanksgiving table decor for our little loved ones. Just bring a little fun to the table, thats all!

It’s A Good Time To Introduce Healthy Food

Whilst kids are being pampered and treated with so much care, attention you could subtly introduce health foods in the thanksgiving table decor. Bring in the oranges and reds in the guise of carrots and apples, use walnuts to bring in the earthly browns and voila your kids will be feeding on good stuff before you know.
