Supplies
Raffia
Long balloons
Rhinestone leaf gems, buttons, or acorn tops
Glue
Hot glue gun
Foam brush
Scissors

Steps
- Inflate your balloon and tie the end shut.
- Apply some glue around a part of the balloon.
- Wrap one end of the raffia around the area. Continue wrapping the raffia onto itself and not on the balloon. The balloon’s aim is to support your shape. Apply more glue as you continue to wrap the raffia around the balloon. One strand of raffia is enough to create sufficient width for a napkin ring.
- Secure the end of the raffia with more glue. You can tuck the end into the fibers.
- Wrap more pieces of raffia on the balloon and secure them with glue. You can make as many pieces as you want. Leave the balloon to dry overnight.
- Use the scissors or pin to pop the balloon and release the napkin rings. It will peel right off.
- Use the scissors to clean some of the hanging or loose raffia and dried glue from the edges of each ring.
- Use the hot glue gun to attach the rhinestone leaf gems, acorn tops, or buttons. You can use your favorite jewels to personalize your napkins.
