  1. Start from Scratch

At first, this may seem overwhelming, but the reward that you will get is worth the effort. First, take all items from the closet then access the actual space that your closet has. (By this time, we assume that you have already decluttered the closet by removing items that you no longer use.) Then, sort all of the items based on style, color, or use. Make sure you come up with a consistent approach to categorizing your items that will really work for your personality.

  1. Store Frequently Used Items Within Reach

Make sure the items you need to use on a daily basis are the easiest to access. Those you wear less frequently can be stored near the back of the closet or on a high shelf.

  1. Use Wicker Baskets

Wicker baskets can be used to store extra handbags, shoes, and even clothing. Be sure to measure before buying to make sure the baskets will fit in your closet and still be big enough to fully utilize the available space.
