Who doesn’t like autumn desserts, but are they all fattening? The usual sweet dish served at the end of the meal is typically something that will seal our meal. But if you want something new and delicious dessert other than the usual ice cream, pastry or fresh fruits, try these Grilled Honey-Glazed Nectarines.
You will be amazed at how quick and easy this recipe can be. All you need are just three ingredients, a little effort and 5 – 10 minutes of your time. That simple yet very satisfying to your taste. This recipe will be a dessert that you will remember for your regular meals and special occasions as well.

Grilled Honey-Glazed Nectarines

Ingredients
- 4 firm, ripe nectarines, halved and pitted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Directions
- Heat a gas grill to medium and oil grates.
- Brush nectarines all over with honey.
- Grill, turning several times, until nectarines are slightly softened and show grill marks, 4 to 5 minutes total.
- Arrange 2 nectarine halves in each of 4 dessert bowls.
- Top with ice cream and serve.

If you do not have nectarines at home or in the grocery store, you can always use any sphere-shaped fruit as an alternative. Just pay attention in grilling as each fruit has its distinct grain and texture. It is also important to position the nectarines or your fruit of choice a little farther than you used to have when grilling meats. This is to avoid the fruits from being overcooked or get burned.
It will be very nice if you will add a little effort in serving this recipe. Place this in a clean plate with a scoop of ice cream you have in your fridge. The Grilled Honey-Glazed Nectarines will surely be one of the all time favorite desserts for the whole family.
