There has been an onset of the introduction of darker colors in interiors lately and I absolutely love them! From the chocolate browns and grayish steel blues to Restoration Hardware – mushroom grays. The even more interesting thing is that these colors are popping up in baby nurseries!
What used to be the standard of pink and blue or even a range of pastel colors has been replaced with a modern twist. Today there are dark colors used as accent walls and pastels are being used along side their dark counterparts. I love how modern dark colors make the mood become just a little more sophisticated than just a traditional nursery. Here are a few of my favorites:
Darker colors as an accent wall
