I have three kids, two teenage boys and a 4 year-old girl. Now that I’m not in “home-selling” mode anymore, I’m trying to get ideas to let them showcase their individual personalities. By the way, if you are trying to sell your home, check out our post on staging children’s bedrooms.
Do you have great kid’s bedroom ideas? Share them with us! Depending on the gender, and age, kid’s rooms have so many possibilities!
Girls:
Girls rooms can be frilly, sweet or they can be adventurous and fun! Consider taking childhood memories that you loved and incorporating them into your daughter’s room. Murals, stickers and wallpaper can help too.
If my daughter could see this beautiful, fairytale bedroom featured on Freshome, she would want it now!
Boys:
Boys always like to feel like they’re going on an adventure in their room. Whether its sports, space, or this great pirate’s theme from Pottery Barn Kids. How about this bed comes with a trundle? Don’t be surprised when your son says, “Mommy, can Timmy sleep over?!”
Tips: For easy decor, consider using wall stickers. For adult rooms and kid’s room, wall stickers are a great alternative to wall murals, and can be removed and changed as your child grows. Sticasa is an Italian vinyl graphics company, featured on Ohdeedoh’s site.
