Personalized Place Settings
Everyone likes having a place at the table, just ask the kids when they get older and make it to the “Big People” table. Make everyone feel special this Thanksgiving evening with specialized table toppers. Pick any fruit, nut, pumpkins or paper craft of any item that represents the holiday and take little strips of paper, write the person’s name on, place each of those strips in the item and place them around the table next to the plates or in front of them. Not only will this add to the ambiance but make everyone feel included and for kicks you can add little quotes or jokes to the strips of paper for each person.

The centerpieces are always an asset and focal point to the table. There is an array of options to choose from when you are adorning your centerpieces for the table. You can keep it within the Thanksgiving theme; such as using feathers with key gourds in a glass, or corn with their husks lying down in a vase. Or you’d rather using floral pieces with colors like; lime green, deep violets, light blue violets or an even brighter color palette with deep red oranges, orange, and golden browns. Or just a simple collection of different sized candles. The choices of Thanksgiving centerpieces are endless and yours.
Charmed Colorful Napkins
The napkins can seem mundane and be overlooked but the accents can really make your table top really standout. Have your napkins carry a design on them like an outline of a leaf or even a whimsical French print or monograms of the guest’s names or yours. See if the designs can have an accent color different from the table cloth; also if you can add a little shimmer and glamor to the napkins with some glitter or iridescent coloring. These little additions go a long way.

Make your accents work for you. Votive holders are great ways for you to again some accents your table without making it seem overwhelming. You can paste tissue paper leaf cut-outs to the glasses, you can paint the glass if you like with porcelain pebeo paints or any porcelain paints, you can even use pumpkins just cut out the center of it, clean it out and place the candle inside of it.
