Gardening – Do it yourself planter

I’m so excited that spring is finally here.  Recently I had a post on preparing for gardening. I featured some of my favorite blogs post’s.  Once again At Home at home shows off her gardening techniques in a above ground planter! What a great idea, and perfect for little hands to watch nature do her thing! In her DIY raised vegetable garden, she shows you step-by-step directions to make your own.

Finally, get ready for your vegetables to grow! What else in life is THIS exciting!? -Don’t answer that.

Steps:

I did 4×6 so that I could still easily reach across about 2 feet on each side. I plotted where the box would sit and turned the soil to discourage any of that grass from growing underneath my vegetables.
