Furnishings
Moroccan interiors are busy in pattern but often simple in furniture. Set low to the ground, some pieces like tables and poufs are inviting and can be decorated quite intricately. Moroccan furnishings rely heavily on elaborate wrought ironwork and carved wood.
Use of Textures
Rich textures and patterns are typical of Moroccan décor. Elaborate throw pillow and cushions made from luxurious fabrics are one of the important accessories of their style. Fusion of multiple shapes and textures are ideal. You can also choose to have dark wood plank floors covered with plush Persian or natural fiber rugs. Draping rich elaborate fabric from the ceilings can also be interesting.

Moroccan Lighting
Lighting plays an essential role in Moroccan style decoration. Focused on dim lighting, fancy lamps and lanterns made from colored glass, carved wood, or, cut metal are just so Moorish in style. Using candles in these traditional lamps will further add some mystery to the beautiful and elegant décor. Chandeliers, hanging pendants, wall scones are equally good lightning choices. Moroccan lighting fixtures are particularly unique and are quite different from those used in other parts of the globe but you can easily find some great options online.
