Guest Blogger: Feng Shui Decorating – Infusing Positive Energy

Guest Blogger #529, Entry #1193, May 20, 2012

If you desire a peaceful atmosphere you may want to consider feng shui decorating and interior design. Feng shui essentially means that you are reinventing an interior and desire for it to have positive energy. This energy will help you with whatever activities will be going on in the space. For example, for a bedroom a soft and relaxing energy will be desirable. For an office space – the energy will need to include powerful energy that will aid in success.

In regards to home decorating, feng shui can be implemented in many different ways. The idea is to find decorating elements that will create a happy home that’s relaxing and fun. Feng shui is different than everyday decorating, but it is unique, which makes it serene and inviting. Here are ways to incorporate feng shui décor elements into your home.

Feng Shui 1

Create the ideal environment in your home

Using color

Color has a lot to do with feng shui decorating. So it’s important to choose the color selection in each room wisely. This means keeping the energy in mind when you begin to plan the colors. For a bedroom that’s for a newborn baby who’s a boy, blue might be the first color that comes to mind. However, with feng shui it’s time to think beyond the color blue. Think of the energy and how it will help your baby boy sleep soundly. Different shades of blue with green might be a better alternative.

Decor

For decorating elements, consider a Fluval Chi aquarium and similar décor pieces that infuse relaxing energy. This aquarium will be ideal in a living room or even a bedroom. Chi represents positive energy and the flowing water from an aquarium symbolizes good luck and prosperity. Add to a Chi aquarium with Chi ornament decorations and more and keep adding to the peaceful atmosphere. A perfect balance of sound and light will add peaceful feng shui elements that will fill the room with positive energy.

Feng Shui 2

Use color and nature to balance your home

Now that you’re more aware of how to create a feng shui environment, it’s time to create a space that will incorporate peaceful elements and the right type of energy. Create an interior that will inspire the positive life energy and in return you will have a prosperous life, according to feng shui belief.
