Guest Blogger #341, Entry #914, January 23, 2012
It is always a pleasure to here from you, my Stagetecture readers. Over the years I have heard from countless people telling me about their personal ideas, inspiration, and home challenges they face. Every once in a while, I hear stories that I say, “You should be a Guest Blogger on Stagetecture, and tell this to the world!” 🙂 Today, I am fortunate to introduce you to one of those people. Bonnie Nadine has some super ideas for cutting the clutter and truly living with the “less is more” lifestyle!

To all those Stagetecture lovers like myself who have learned (or perhaps haven’t learned) that less is unequivocally more…
Let your mind wander across the exquisite photographs Ronique sends us 365 days a year, and ask yourself how often there’s a section devoted to storage of “stuff.” That is, “stuff,” we have no use for or need of even once a year.
Stagetecture should be opening many eyes to the fact that if you enter a beautiful dwelling, the one thing you don’t see is “stuff.” We can all bear this in mind to create a welcome refuge from the chaos of our evolving and passing weeks.
Pairing down the clutter
Remember the last time you wanted to relax and enjoy a true change? Moving could do it. So could a couple of weekends going thru all of your “stuff,” and packaging it neatly in boxes, googling for the local charity with a big truck and handy-dandy tax receipts.
One or two boxes may not do it, unless you’re a real neat-nick like myself. If you want a true change in your life, a lift in your emotions and satisfaction of gifting to others, doing this yearly or semi-annually is a MUST.
No one needs more than 7 tops and 7 bottoms (skirts or slacks). No one needs more than three pair of shoes. No one. More than two winter coats or jackets and boots? Unreasonable.

If it’s not used, why is it sitting there making it just one more article to clean or clean around? if it’s not used, why is it being stored?
The less you accumulate, the less you will weigh! Most Americans I know would welcome that fact gratefully — at least the folks in my geographical location would.
American Dream? Your home should be your dream. A home is how you express yourself to yourself, the world who enters, and how you unwind and luxuriate. A home is not a house and a mortgage. It may well be an 850-square foot apartment that you rent. Either can be that special refuge. Lose the “weight” and gain the special freedom and happiness you deserve.
Bonnie Nadine’s love for her uncluttered home has led her to El Paso Texas, home of Typing Tornado where she does editing and transcriptions. In her spare time she enjoys being a Classical Jazz Vocalist in The Westside Bohemians group. Bonnie says, “I gave up the sunshine of the sunshine state – Florida to make my home in the “sun city,” of El Paso, Texas. All the great weather with none of the storms or humidity!’

self storage battersea says
Strew around a person can make him crazy. To keep the clutter in control we should use storage boxes, storage furniture. And we should avoid keeping those things which are useless for us , we can recycle them or can donate them that might be useful for others.
