How to Create a 5-Minute Summer Floral Centerpiece

Summertime is not only a season for traveling, camping and outdoor activities. You also can do so many things at home to beautify it and bring the season inside.  Decorating with a floral arrangement in your interiors will make your home smell delicious and look even better.  If you are thinking floral arranging takes a long time, here are a few tips for making a no-fuss arrangement that will still look great.

Use crafty containers

Typically, cans are designed to have colorful coverings. Try reusing cans to create beautiful containers that can be customized to match your decorative style.  It’s  a great way to create a rustic look for your arrangements. Make sure to find time in selecting cans with vibrant design and shape to pair them with your flowers. You can even design it by having a different approach like using spray-paint to provide accents to your table decorations. Remember to choose containers in varying sizes to bring variety to your tablescape and your flowers.

Insert your flowers and arrange them

Choose your flowers and arranging them can be simple and quick. Make it look simple and natural. Avoid having too many flowers as it may hide the uniqueness of each flower you have. Maintain a combination of three to four types of flowers in each can.  You also need materials such as tie wires and floral foam.  You can use these materials to keep flowers stationary in the place you put them. Whether you choose to go big and astonishing or small and simple, floral arrangements can be made perfect in just a few minutes.

Make it last longer

Try to avoid using rusty cans, as they will reduce the longevity of the flowers. If you have only rusty cans with you, clean it properly so that rusty cans before putting flowers on it. Place the stems in warm water (not that totally hot) up to the necks of blooms, after cutting so the development of their growth might grow faster. Also, remove all shrubbery below the waterline. Include some flower preservative to keep the blooms fresh. The flowers will look really attractive if it is well preserved.

Make your summer home beautiful with these few steps in floral arranging. Whether you are trying to add color to your dining table, office or bedside, a bouquet of flowers doesn’t have to take a lot of time to create, but you will enjoy the hours of beauty!
