I’m Speaking at: Lady Blogger Social Online Conference

I’m excited to have been asked by The Lady Bloggers Society to speak at the Lady Blogger Social Online Conference – July 8-10, 2011. I will be representing Stagetecture and Freshome, and I’m going to talk about how to choose blogging content that can sustain you, and excite you for years into the future!

What exactly is the Lady Blogger Social Online Conference?

This Social Online Conference is a blogging conference held completely online. Attendees are able to log on to our conference site and attend live seminars, and network with other attendees.

Sounds great! But what if I am not able to attend one of the days for the conference?

We set up the conference to be 3 days long, from 10AM to 4PM central. If you are not able to attend a session at a certain time, or not even be able to attend the entire conference, you are still able to log in to the conference site and stay updated with any information that you missed. Every session will be recorded, transcribed, and will be accessible to you from the conference site.

What gave you the idea of creating an online blogging conference?

There are so many great blogging conferences out there, and personally I found it difficult to attend every single one. Even harder, was narrowing down the ones that I could go to. Even when the invitation came to attend one of these conferences, either funds, or availability stood in the way of attending. We created this online conference for the women who can’t attend these live events due to the limit of funds, time constraints with family, or commitments with work.

Will I really get to meet new bloggers?

In addition to live speakers and panels, the conference site hosts forums, live chat rooms, and profile pages. We will also host “round table discussions” in these live chats, have giveaways, and host activities to network among both the attendees and speakers.

What’s another fun feature of the Online Conference?

Another feature of the Lady Blogger Social Online Conference that you can not get at other conferences, is the ability to ask questions ahead of time, a week before the actual live events. When you see our main conference site, there will be a separate page for each speakers presentation. During the conference there will also be a live Q&A chat, and after the conference you will be able to network with the speakers in the chat rooms and forums.
