Most of us can’t wait to bring spring into our homes. March is coming with the beacon of lots of natural freshness and chances of outdoor hangouts, as it is a little bit chilly, rainy, but not snowy month. If you want, you can bring the greenery of March into your interiors with these ideas:

Know Thy Style
Before selecting plants, check out the décor of your house. Clean-lined, sleek plants having slim, long shapes go well with a bedroom styled after fashionable, modern look. On the other hand, a bedroom with Victorian style will look lovely with frilly, delicate ferns. Southwest style is perfect for holding cacti.
Juxtapose Varieties
Instead of using just one type of plants, juxtapose a number of different varieties for added impact. However, before making such gathering, be sure that all of your chosen varieties have the same water and lighting requirements. Another thing to be noticed is that the groups of plants should be of various heights. You can do that by making platforms for the pots with fabric-covered bricks. Your bedroom will become a sort of oasis with the addition of various sorts of several plants.

Dramatize the Room
Add a dramatic effect to your bedroom by gathering a number of plants in a single container. Take a big trunk or a basket, place the plants with each in their separate pot inside the large container, and arrange them neatly. Try using plants from the same family and with similar lighting and water needs. For example, you can put lilies of different colors or different types of ferns together in the same container. Give a finished look to the container by coating the pots with Spanish moss or sphagnum moss.
Think through your plant placement
You have to be careful about the placements of plants too. It is because some plants need much light and heat while some other needs shade to grow up and bloom. For example, Azaleas, which is a great indoor plant and comes in various colors, needs plenty of lights to be bloomed. On the other hand, some plants like ferns will grow well in darkness.

Change the Look
Hanging plants will be a great addition to the decor of your bedroom. Such plants will look good over the window. So, set two hooks at the each upper corner of the bedroom window and hang some plants with cords. Some draping plants are also there that will look great on windowsill. Place the pots on the sill and watch how the plants drape gracefully over the walls. Sometimes, the look of the whole space can be changed just by placing a small flower plant on the bedside table or a big, large plant at one corner of the room.
A bunch of fresh flowers or a pot with green plants acts just like chicken soup for the soul. So, feed your soul by giving a little bit green thump to your bedroom.
