The vignettes you create for your decor need not be expensive, especially when creating gorgeous fall table centerpieces. Look around you and take inspiration from nature. Walk around a park and you will find a multitude of colorful leaves, broken twigs and pine cones. Here are a few ideas to help you get started:

1. Fall table centerpieces: Decorating with fall leaves

Collect fall leaves in different colors. Bunch these up with pine needles, dried berries, flowers and acorns. Create a beautiful table centerpiece with these. Empty the insides of a large orange pumpkin and place your arrangement in it. The colors of the centerpiece will instantly add warmth to your table setting.

2. Decorating with white pumpkins:

This year, white pumpkins are emerging as a trend when it comes to fall decorating. Everywhere you look online, there is a surge in the sale of the white variety. These look fresh, fun and brighten the décor. In case you cannot find white ones, just paint the usual orange pumpkins.  Keep it simple and scatter small white pumpkins on your wooden dining table for a rustic charm. To add some color, place these over a bright orange or red table cloth.

3. Decorating with pine cones:

Another simple yet effective idea for table decor is to decorate with pine cones. The rich brown color provides a contrast to the deep oranges, greens and rusts. You can paint half the pine cone with a metallic color like gold to add a glamorous feel.  Experiment with metallic glitter and other colors.  Natural brown pine cones look great with both bright greens and muted rusts.

Candles are a great way to add warmth to your fall tablescape. Instead of buying expensive scented candles, you can create these are home. Cover your non- scented candle with cinnamon sticks. Tie a jute twine or ribbon to hold these together. You can also place coffee beans in a small glass container and then add a tea-light to it. When the candles burn, they will give off the aroma of cinnamon and coffee.
