Making kids DIY crafts is a good way to keep them busy during holidays or weekends. Your kids will have fun and to a plus point, you can use the craft as a decorative piece. A cherry-blossom tree is a nice, simple, and inexpensive kids spring craft that will help your children to boom with creativity. The little gardeners will love celebrating the arrival of spring with a tissue cherry-blossom tree.
Kids Spring Craft: How to Make a Cherry-Blossom Tree

Materials
• Branches that can be found in your backyard (branches with several offshoots will be the best option for this craft)
• Pink tissue
• Scissor
• White glue
• Scotch tape
• A tall container with its lid removed in the middle
How to Make
• Let the branches dry if necessary.
• Use the scissor to cut the pink tissue paper into 2-inch square-shaped pieces.

• Nip each of the square-shaped tissue pieces tightly in the middle to create blooms. Twist the nipped part to shape the stem of the blooms.
• Take a small piece of scotch tape and wrap it around the edge of the stem.
• Affix the blooms to the branches with white glue or secure them by wrapping the tape around an offshoot of the branch.
• Display the branches in a container or jar.
Tips
• Apart from pink, you can use other bright colored tissue to add pizzazz.
• If you like to suspend the branches from the ceiling, use fishing line to hang them.
• If you put the flowers in a jar, you can place it on the dining table. However, if you decide to hang them, grace the ceiling of your kid’s room.
