Feature #11, March 3, 2010
A few weeks ago I did a post about Laundry room’s, and using the space for doing more than just the laundry. Today, I saw an excerpt from the HGTV Dream House 2010 laundry room which I had to share. (I’ll invite you over to my house when I win the Dream house this year!) Oh, back to the laundry room. This one is beautiful, but also well lit. Task lighting, ambiance lighting, overall lighting – very functional.
Lighting, it can make you stay and enjoy or run far from the laundry room!
Go ahead, add lamps!
Remember I talked about saving space, and collapsible ironing boards? Look at this one..
I can't wait to iron here! Yes, still hoping for that HGTV Dream House call
Storage is key, and in this room it’s hidden. The pull-out basket cabinets are great for tight spaces, or just things you want out of view.. like dirty laundry! What is also great is there is now space for personal touches like pictures, and notepads. I could live in just this laundry room.
