WE CHOSE A WINNER!

Anne Lubner’s  Answer to “What would you do under your OttLite?”

So many things I’d do with an OTTLITE Cobra desk lamp: select a color palette to see the true color, do anything when I need to really see the details, read with ease, file my nails between manicures :), watercolor paint. It’s more what WOULDN”T I do with an OTTLITE!

LED Desk Lamp is Great for Food & Lifestyle Photography

Whether I am photographing food or home interiors the lighting is essential to a beautiful product. What I loved about the LED Cobra Desk Lamp is the ability to adjust the lighting from cool to warm to daylighting with a simple swipe touch of my finger. Here’s the result of an Easter photo shoot I was staging. I may not need to lug out my huge professional lighting now!

Best LED Light Bulbs for My Hobbies & Crafts

If you love to make jewelry, crafts, paint or even just read next to your bedside it’s important to have an LED Desk Lamp that can dim and brighten as you need it. I’ve had many lamps and the problem is that it may only have a few settings. This lamp has 9-10 ranges of dimming per light mode. Which means you get at least 36 levels of lighting in this one LED lamp!

OttLite Cobra LED Lamp Desk Features:

  • Diffuser provides smooth, uniform illumination
  • Smart dimming feature remembers your last brightness setting for each color mode
  • Built-in USB port fully charges tablets, smartphones and more (5V, 2.1A)
  • Super bright natural daylight LEDs rated to last up 40,000 hours

Anne I love the painting your nails between manicures comment! HA 🙂 There’s so many things you can do and I love the point about true colors. Especially in visual fields like design, art, crafting color is everything. Thanks for entering!

I could really use a light like that. The lighting in my house is so bad. Hardly and natural light in the winter. It is really hard to good get pictures for my website on my recipes and crafts.

This would be great for taking photographs for my blog or while painting.

Melissa I think the average house has really bad lighting! 🙁 It’s good to hear someone else say that, other than me! Thanks for entering.

Photography and painting are two of my favorite past times and the OttLite would be perfect for either 🙂

Reading! My eyes have a hard time reading in room light or lamp light, I really need brightness on the pages. Also, this OTT light would be great for hand stitching, quilting, threading needles (!!) …and seeing those crazy chin hairs that need to be plucked (where on earth do THEY come from!?)

I would use this for my nightly creations. I love making stationary items, clothing items, and fun designs for my kids. If there’s a big test coming up, I’ll help them with their studying. I decorated their notebook with a different president design every day up until a week before their big test. I use slip in sheet so that i can alternate the presidents each week. At the end of the day, on our way home, I’d quiz them on the information. The kids loved it and I had so much fun making the designs for them.

  13. Ronique says

What great ideas! It always seems like the night time is when we tend to get creative, right? 🙂

  14. Ronique says

    February 23, 2016 at 7:31 pm

Sharon we always underestimate how much good reading light can help us. We often thinks it’s our glasses or our eyes, many times we just need better lighting 🙂

  15. Holly says

    February 23, 2016 at 10:47 pm

This would be awesome for my craft table 🙂

  16. Ronique says

Holly you bet! What type of crafts do you do?

  17. Julie says

    February 24, 2016 at 8:23 pm

I teach tennis to kids so I would use this for my lesson planning and creating targets. My red ball players (8 and unders) love anything with color and shine so I love decorating targets for them. For my orange ball players, I try and create a different theme each week so one week will be on the fiery forehands so I’ll use lots of red and orange on the courts. The next week we’ll do the deep blue backhands (ocean theme) and so forth.

I would use this ottlite in my craft room/office to better light my sewing and crafts, but also to take pictures for my blog. This room is not well lit so I have to take items that need better light out of the room, and photography is almost impossible there. Thanks for the giveaway!!

  27. Ronique says

    March 3, 2016 at 1:35 pm

Rachel great point! I love the Ott lite for photography.. its great because you don’t have to pull out the large studio lights and all for small table top items. Thanks for entering!

I would love to do my manicures and pedicures under this light. I’m always adjusting the lighting in my room and I can never get the perfect amount of light to see my nails really well. I would also love to use it while I’m planning nursery crafts throughout the week. I’m the nursery director at church so I’m always looking through craft books and planning projects.
