Have you ever wanted to sleep under the stars? Not in a tent where the view is obstructed – I mean in an enclosed pod that is transparent so you can see the all the stars! One of my Stagetecture readers sent me this great article where you can sleep in comfort and enjoy the French skies in the comfort of your own pod! How very cool.

Attrap Rêves, a bubble hotel in the countryside east of Marseille, France invites guests to stay in transparent pods set in nature. The bubbles were conceived by French designer Pierre Stéphane, who wanted to give campers an eco-friendly space so they could explore without leaving a negative impact.

They measure about 13 feet in diameter, which makes them easy to pack up, and they are cozy and comfortable inside. Some of the bubble tents are fully transparent and for those who want a little more privacy, there are some which are partly opaque. Staying the night in a bubble will cost you upwards of 109 euros, while tasty meals are provided at the nearby lodge-style restaurant.
