Summer time is perfect for grillin’ and chillin! Even though grilling meats and vegetables come to mind, how about a healthy dessert on the grill? Plums are in season during the summer and there isn’t a better way to grill an unexpected dessert than this recipe. With the addition of equally nutritious and delicious ingredients, you can’t say no to this Honey-Glazed Grill Plums dessert!

Honey-Glazed Grilled Plums
Ingredients
4 (about 3/4 pound) plums, firm, halved and pitted
6 tablespoon(s) honey
3 cup(s) vanilla frozen yogurt

Directions
- Grill the plums
- Heat a grill to medium.
- Toss plums and 2 tablespoons honey in a large bowl.
- Liberally brush a grill rack with oil.
- Grill the plums, flesh side down, on the rack until lightly browned — about 3 minutes.
- Turn and grill on the skin side until plums soften and are warmed through — 2 to 3 more minutes.
- Serve 2 plum halves with 3/4 cup yogurt immediately.

Drizzle honey over plums grilled just long enough to soften the fruit and release its natural juices. Serve this dessert warm along with a scoop or two of cool frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream for a sweet and refreshing finish.
These grilled plums make an easy to make and delicious treat to include in your table. This is truly a dessert that everyone will surely enjoy every spoonful of its sweetness!
