They may be small, but they have a special place in our hearts. Why not having a special Thanksgiving kids’ table? It will give them a feeling of independence and this is definitely something they will love. To keep them busy until the menu is served, you need to provide them with things to do and craft supplies. For the table’s decoration, you can use fun and colorful centerpieces and placemats, and also tableware and plates to match.

Creative Thanksgiving Kids’ Table Ideas

One can find nowadays wooden or plastic, yet grown-up looking tableware, such as tableware with a silver-metallic finish, fancy-looking glasses, and colorful unbreakable plates to accompany them. Don’t forget to place a cute placement card for each kid, napkins and a fun centerpiece and you will be for sure be their favorite person of the Thanksgiving Day.

Cornucopia Kids’ Table

Line your table with kraft paper and place some nice brown trays on it. On the trays, arrange simple cornucopia treats, using ice cones filled with snacks, and a box filled with either candy to take home, or craft supplies. The box can also be used for placement card holders. For the rest of the decoration, use some bright colored flowers and matching pumpkins.

Cupcakes kids’ table

A cupcake stander with lots of fun cupcakes on it serves as a centerpiece. Line the table with kraft paper and draw placemat borders on it, one for each kid. Place the dishes and tableware and a simple decorated mason jar on each plate. With a colorful napkins, you can complete the setting.

Pumpkin kids’ table

With nice autumn colored plates, cute pumpkin- and leaf shaped bowls filled with treats, every table can be turned into the nicest setting. Lined with kraft paper and with lots of drawing equipment, the kids are sure to stay busy. A nice touch would be to paint glasses some windows with chalkboard paint and use them as placement cards.

Chalkboard kids’ table

Using some chalkboard placemats would give a unique look to the kids’ table. Of course you need to provide chalks to color with. Compliment the setting with cute printable owls holding mini ceramic pots, which are filled with treats and mason jars with straws as glasses, and it is sure to be an entertaining place for the little ones.
