Table linens’ decorative art

Tired of your plain and boring table linens? Go get some buttons and make a masterpiece out of your linen. You need needles, threads, tailor’s chalk and buttons. First, you draw something that you want to have in your linen like a branch, twig or flower. Then, using your sewing kits, stitch the part that you need colors to represent your illustration. Typically, those circular drawings will be covered with buttons. For instance, the center of the flower, body of the fruit or insects and anything that buttons can represent. The combination of the colored thread and buttons to form a nice illustration is definitely a work of art.

Button clock designer piece

The best way to showcase your creativity is by making something that people want to look into. So, what do you say about a clock? Isn’t it something that everyone looks at any time of the day? Well, you can work on a button clock designer piece for anyone to see the time and your craftsmanship. To do this, you need a dial template, clock machine, stick glue or any adhesive, clock nail set and twelve buttons in different sizes and styles. Start by attaching the clock machine into your dial. Use adhesive to attach the clock machine. Then, attach the clock nail set and align them accurately in the 12 o’clock position. With the clock nail set as your guide, stick each button one by one to represent each hour in your clock. The more stylish the buttons are, the better your clock will appear.
